A very welcome and exciting develoment, this fairtrade Eco cotton from Debbie Bliss is not only organically produced but ethically traded as well. Soft 100% organic cotton.

This beautiful yarn is manufactured through the "bioRe" textile chain which carries out projects in training, teaching and health. The farmers receive agricultural advice and are supported on a long term basis to develop and sustain their organic familing practices. The cotton is grown without the use of pesticides, chemical fertilizers or defoliants and is harvested by hand. The yarn is dyed with non toxic or carcinogenic dyes and the water recycled and rendered drinkable by "Idra", a non-profit making organisation. Full marks to Debbie Bliss!
